1. One social problem related to gender inequality in New York City which is my chosen city is unequal pay between men and women for the same job. This issue has been better if we compare it with the conditions in 1900 when only 20% of women worked outside their home but with almost 80% women working outside their homes since 2000’s, the gap in pay has yet to be lessened between men and women ("Gender and the Wage Gap in New York City", 2014).
